In this fast-paced session, you’ll learn the basics of MIG welding and plasma cutting, get comfortable with key tools, and create your own custom outdoor woodpecker sculpture to take home.

One Day Workshop

Looking for a creative challenge?

This focused, fast-paced workshop packs the essentials of welding and metal sculpture into a single creative day. You’ll learn the core skills of MIG welding, cutting, bending, and shaping metal — plus how to use every tool safely and confidently.

With a variety of projects to choose from and a small class size, you’ll get hands-on time, one-on-one guidance, and time to create and finish a welded sculpture to take home by the end of the day.

Weekend Workshop

Ready for a deeper dive?

Spend two full days in the studio and immerse yourself in welding and sculpture from start to finish. You’ll learn MIG welding, cutting, grinding, and shaping techniques, beginning with a small practice project before choosing one of four original sculpture designs to bring to life.

With just four students per class, you’ll have plenty of personal guidance and creative freedom. By Sunday afternoon, you’ll head home with your own finished sculpture — and a solid foundation in metalwork.
