Sculpt in Steel 4 Hour Workshop

Try your hand at welding and sculpture
We are not currently scheduling half-day workshops. We are focusing our schedule on our two-day weekend workshop, which offers the most complete beginner experience.

Curious about artistic welding?

Currently Not Scheduled

Our half-day welding workshop is not currently on the calendar.

After running several formats, we’ve found that our full two-day workshop provides the most complete and rewarding beginner experience. For that reason, we are focusing our schedule on our immersive weekend classes.

If you’re looking for a hands-on introduction to artistic welding, we encourage you to explore our two-day workshop, where you’ll have time to build confidence, practice essential techniques, and complete a substantial finished sculpture.

If you would like to be notified should shorter-format workshops return in the future, please join our mailing list below.

Why learn to weld?

Ready to dive into artistic welding—whether for fun, creative release, or the start of something bigger?

When you know how to shape metal, you can build just about anything: a bold sculpture, custom garden art, a one-of-a-kind table—or even a new career.

Welding isn’t just sparks and steel. It’s creativity in motion—hands-on, expressive, and surprisingly meditative. You don’t need to be in a factory or an art school to do this.

In these workshops, you’ll get messy, explore design, learn real skills, and walk away with the confidence to keep going. Small class size, full support, and practical tips—even for setting up at home.

Let’s fire it up.

Where the heck is Harrington? Closer than you think!
